About Project Enage

In the United States there are thousands of disengaged youth.  Very high percentages of these youth live with only one parent who may have less than a high school education.  As a result, they often live below the poverty line and face challenges caused by inferior elementary and secondary educational opportunities, dangerous neighborhoods and other circumstances that threaten to lock them into a cycle of poverty, gang involvement, substance abuse and more.  Many have no connections to adults in their homes or communities who can introduce them to the possibility of something beyond their circumstance.  Project Engage meets these challenges head-on with programming based on the needs described by students. Our program is designed to unlock full potential and develop youth into morally grounded citizens.
