L.O.V.E is the Answer seminar is Project Engage’s innovative instructor-led, community and police relationship transformation methodology. This intensive two-day workshop will introduce you to the creative Walking While Black Documentary film and the curriculum that we are promoting all over America to improve relationships between communities and law enforcement. “Walking While Black: L.O.V.E. Is the Answer” presents proven action steps to bridge the painful gap between peace officers and the communities they serve. L.O.V.E. is an acronym for Learn about the community and the people in it, open your heart to the humanity of people in the community, Volunteer yourself to be part of the solution, and Empower others to do the same. The film Features interviews with peace officers, faith leaders, educators, activists and others. It offers an inspiring blueprint to end racial profiling and heal our communities. L.O.V.E is the Answer Seminars empowers participants to:
- Understand why instructor-led, participant-centered training is the most effective method for Improving community and law enforcement relationships
- Learn to deliver on-going training using our curriculum to improve relationships that energizes, motivates, and empowers participants
- Discover training strategies to engage schools, churches and other community organizations
Project Engage’s L.O.V.E is the Answer training seminar designed for one purpose: to help build better communities. Participants will leave seminar prepared to direct new energy and fresh ideas into community improvement.

Racial Healing and Community Engagement Tour (2018-19)
PLATINUM PACKAGE: A DAY-LONG CONFERENCE ($15,500 PLUS TRAVEL AND HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS)
The Package includes:
- Screening of the film the documentary film “Walking While Black: L.O.V.E. Is the Answer
- Town Hall Session Q&A (immediately following the screening with Project Engage and filmmaker (at least one of the film makers will be on site)
- Focus groups by trained facilitators
- 1 Year License fee with discussion guide
- VIP Invitation to annual national conference in July 2018 (Los Angeles-each host institution will be allotted one presentation slot at the national conference)
- Engagement Curriculum Guide and video

1:30-3:30 pm – General session: Engagement (L.O.V. E. in Action speaker or panel)
