Ralph Bessard

Founder and CEO

Ralph Bessard Jr., a passionate leader throughout his life, was born to Christine Johnson Bessard and Ralph Bessard Sr. in Fresno, California.  After an amicable divorce, Ralph’s mother relocated to the bay area where she raised Ralph and his brother as single parent. With family ties in the south, Bessard’s mother instilled ole’ school traditional values such as honesty, integrity, family ties, respect and sensitivity towards others and the spirit to never quit.

After graduation from high school, Ralph moved to Los Angeles County to attend college.  He poured himself into his work, which allowed him to develop his leadership, business and program implementation abilities. While still in college, Ralph was hired by the City of Agoura Hills (Los Angeles County) to head up the youth outreach division.  He emerged as a highly regarded leader within Los Angeles/Ventura County for his outstanding work developing city projects and implementing successful youth programs. Recognizing his accomplishments, the county officials placed him in charge of discovering innovative, creative and effective solutions for the growing underprivileged and unemployed youth. During his tenure with Los Angeles and Ventura County, Ralph developed multiple programs and initiatives that are still in place today.  His dedication helped to make the Conejo Valley’s young adult unemployment rate one of the nation’s lowest.

Ralph has a proven track record of devotion to helping the community through innovative and practical business solutions.  His business acumen and successful programs in community engagement caught the attention of another business-minded and generous individual, his wife of more than 20 years, Angela Setters-Bessard. Together, they founded the very successful Calabasas-California based Conquer Credit Management, Inc. Over the past 25 years, the business has received numerous awards from the business community and has an outstanding reputation of excellence throughout the state of California. As a leader and co- founder of the business, Ralph used his strong interpersonal relationship training and skills to develop the company’s customer service policies as well as the client quality assurance models. His passion for excellence in business practices has helped the business emerge as one of the leading firms in the Los Angeles-area, specializing in credit management and financial excellence.

While Ralph is grateful for the success and growth of the family business, he continues to be concerned about using his talents to help others within the community. He followed his heart and began studying the word of God with the same dedication that he once poured into Los Angeles/Ventura County’s underserved-population and the family business.  His initial formal experience with the work of the Church was with God’s Grace Covenant Church in Northridge, California. During his time with the church, he served the Lord in many roles and became a senior Minister and Chairman of the Board.

Devoting his time and energy to the Lord’s work, Ralph continued his journey to share the gospel acquiring formal training.  He enrolled in and graduated from the King’s Seminary and Bible College in Van Nuys, California with a Masters of Divinity degree. During the time that he was pursuing the degree, he was moved to found Crossover Ministries in Sherman Oaks, California. Over several years, he served as Senior Pastor where he touched many lives.  Ralph currently serves at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village, California as the Senior Discipleship Instructor in the “Discover My Mission & Ministry Course,” where he continues to strive to…

Conquer Credit Management Inc.

Known as a pioneer in the Credit Industry, Angela Setters Bessard is the Founder and CEO of Conquer Credit Management, Inc. Since starting her first business over twenty-five years ago as a consultant, Angela is now changing lives with her relentless dedication to helping people understand how to manage their credit and use it as tool to create wealth and sustain financial stability. Working solely through referrals and trusted advisors, Conquer Credit Management, Inc. has long been a prominent credit management agency in the Credit and Financial Industries. Angela has been a credit consultant to professional athletes, celebrities, high net worth individuals and several Fortune 100-500 companies, and her referral list continues to grow.

Angela started in the financial industry as a mortgage underwriter. It was then that she identified a specific niche where people desperately needed help: understanding and managing credit worthiness. Angela knew this was the key for many people to achieve their financial goals and dreams. Out of that need, Angela started her journey to counsel consumers. These individuals would later become clients of her first entrepreneurial outreach as an educator. Angela’s goal has always been to teach her clients to be better stewards of their credit, which ultimately makes a difference in their long-term financial health and stability.

Ever innovative, Angela has been an advocate for many nonprofit organizations where she has had the opportunity to educate consumers. Kids Club USA, Valley Rescue Mission, and The Fellowship of Inmates as well as at risk teens and college students, several California church organizations, transitional living homes and battered woman’s shelters are some of the organizations that have benefitted from Angela’s education and support. Angela is also a popular and influential speaker who participates in monthly engagements where she shares her unique insights and expertise on credit management with some of the world’s major financial firms. California Association of Mortgage Brokers, California Association of CPA’s, World Savings Bank, Wells Fargo, Coldwell Banker, Sotheby’s, Keller Williams, PNG Corporate, Mastermind Corporate, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America as well as The Empowered Women’s Network, the National Association of Women in Business, several Rotary Clubs and Chambers of Commerce are just a few of the companies and organizations to which Angela has lent her expertise. Her interactive and witty presentations are full of useful and educational content. Attendees often come out of their seats with excitement as they begin to understand how they can use credit to move their companies forward in addition to helping their customers reach their financial goals.

In addition to running a successful company and contributing her support to many charitable causes, Angela is a dedicated wife and mother raising three sons, Justin, Jordan, and Julian, all while being integrally involved in Crossover Ministries where her husband, Ralph, serves as the Senior Pastor and founder. There’s never a dull moment in Angela’s day, and she thrives on the excitement. In everything she does, she’s helping people improve their lives and reach their dreams, and nothing gives Angela greater satisfaction. As Angela puts it, “I’m living MY dream.”
